It is hard to believe the year is half over. We have had a fantastic second quarter.
In Bible, we studied the birth of Christ and are now learning about His early ministry, His disciples and the miracles He performed.
In math and science, we have reflected on the uniqueness of each person and their role in God's plan.
Our geometry unit showed us how man's creativity, given by God, uses shapes throughout the world.
Our weather unit focused on winter and the individuality of snowflakes.
We have also learned about leaders of our country and the importance of God's plan for our lives and that of our families in social studies.
The Christmas around the world projects were nicely done. The kindergarteners we able to learn how other children celebrate the birth of Christ.
We have worked especially hard to become early readers. It is exciting to work with enthusiastic learners.
I am very proud of the work we have done this quarter and look forward to an equally successful third quarter. |
